This is amazing shop for both quilting and yarn needs. It’s chock full of yarns, unique fabrics, and other supplies. The sales people are friendly and I particularly enjoyed talking with Katrina, who very very knowledgeable. I was able to find Qiviut yarn, which I understand is unique to Alaska.

Beautiful fabric store with tons of fabric and kits! I only wish they had more cross stitch items other than a small amount of patterns and some mini kits. They also didn't have any DMC floss but RainTree Quilting in the Mendenhall Mall had a big selection available, so I was able to get some DMC floss there.

I went in looking for wool yarn to make a beanie for a friend. Had a nice conversation with a very lovely lady. Learned some very helpful things about wool yarns. Good prices too. I would recommend this store for your yarn needs. Also, they have a great selection of Denali Dream lip balm. If you know, you know.

I visited while on a an Alaskan cruise, and everyone in the shop were so kind and helpful. I asked about the stitch markers and was able to get two sets (one of me and one for my grandmother). When I explained I was getting the second set for my grandmother I was offered an extra project bag for her as well. The shop is also very well laid out and esthetically pleasing. I hope to visit again one day!
